the wally world dog

This is Wally.  Wally’s story is like many others in that he was rescued three years ago.  I did not find him on the side of the road.  I did not find him scrounging for food in my yard.  I found him in the parking lot at Wal-Mart as a three month old, worm belly puppy.  He was scared and bewildered, so I had to pick him up and take him home since no one around claimed him or even cared.  As I placed him in my lap I said, “You are now Wally from Wally World and you are mine.”

My lostness in the sight of God was much like Wally’s story.  I was the bewildered and scared person lost in the world that had placed its weight on my shoulders.  Then, through amazing, loving ways, God came and found me.  He claimed me and took me in saying “You are Mine.”

Just thinking about the grace it took for God to claim me makes my heart remember and sing this song:

“Were it not for Grace, I could tell you where I’d be, wondering down some pointless road

to nowhere, with my salvation left up to me.

And I know how that would go. and the battles I would face.

Forever running, but losing the race…were it not for Grace.”

About 2b14u

I'm just a person. A person who has learned a lot of truth in the darkest days of life. The truth that glimmered, flashed and at times broke through like a day's dawn all came from the hands of a mighty God. His light makes the darkness worth it. Thanks for reading my post and commenting. He is adorable and I am so thankful he is mine. I thought he was a beagle when I found him! Now it is evident that he is a pit/lab/ or bird dog mix at 79 pounds.

Congratulations to both of you for finding each other! And I believe God specializes in finding the lost-est and most needy of lost sheep.
